What we do

Three services,
one approach.

Each service we offer is designed around a specific type of need. We work across quartz movement replacement, vintage watch assessment and servicing, and water resistance restoration.

Our methodology

How we work through every job

Regardless of the service type, our approach follows a consistent structure. We look before we act, we document what we find, and we communicate before costs change. The steps below apply across all three services we provide.

1

Receive and log

Every watch is recorded on arrival with a description of its condition.

2

Assess and report

We examine the movement, case, and relevant components, then document our findings.

3

Discuss and approve

We share our recommendation. Work proceeds only once you've agreed.

4

Carry out the work

The agreed service is performed carefully, with verification steps at key stages.

5

Return and collect

We contact you when the watch is ready and confirm collection against the receipt.

Quality assurance at every stage

Timing accuracy, seal integrity, and dial alignment are all verified before a watch is returned.

Unexpected findings are communicated first

If we open a movement and find something beyond the original scope, we stop and contact you before continuing.

Cosmetic changes by request only

Polishing, refinishing, and dial cleaning are never carried out unless explicitly requested and agreed.

Quartz Movement Replacement

Designed for battery-powered timepieces that have stopped or are running inaccurately. The existing movement is carefully removed, a compatible replacement sourced and installed, and timing accuracy verified before the caseback is sealed. Battery replacement and contact cleaning are included.

  • Battery replacement and contact cleaning included
  • Timing accuracy verified post-installation
  • Dial alignment and hand positioning confirmed
  • Typical turnaround: 3–5 working days

Vintage Watch Assessment & Servicing

Tailored for owners of older or inherited timepieces. The service begins with a detailed visual and mechanical assessment — movement identification, condition grading, and a written report. Servicing proceeds only with your approval and may include cleaning, lubrication, part replacement, and dial restoration. Patina is preserved unless removal is specifically requested. Assessment: 2–3 days; full servicing: 10–18 working days.

  • Written condition report provided before work begins
  • Movement identification and grade assigned
  • Patina and dial character preserved by default
  • No work proceeds without your explicit approval

Water resistance testing

Water Resistance Testing & Resealing

Verifies and restores the water-resistance rating of your watch using pressure testing equipment. We assess current seal integrity, identify any failure points, and replace gaskets, crown seals, and caseback O-rings with manufacturer-specification components. A second pressure test confirms the restored rating. Suitable for watches worn in active or humid environments. Typically 2–4 working days.

  • Pressure testing before and after resealing
  • Manufacturer-specification gaskets and O-rings
  • Crown seals and caseback seals replaced as needed
  • Typical turnaround: 2–4 working days

Technical Standards

Secure storage

All watches are stored securely within the workshop for the duration of the service. Collection requires the original receipt.

Compatible parts only

We source parts that match your watch's original specifications. Generic substitutes are not used where spec-matched alternatives are available.

Calibrated testing tools

Timing accuracy and seal integrity are verified with workshop equipment rather than estimated from visual inspection.

Clear communication

We contact you if unexpected findings change the scope or cost of work. Nothing is added to the bill without prior discussion.

Privacy respected

We handle personal information collected through our service with care and in accordance with Malaysian data protection requirements.

Realistic timeframes

We give honest turnaround estimates and contact you if a job requires more time than initially anticipated.
