Vintage Watch Assessment & Servicing

For older or inherited timepieces. We begin with a detailed visual and mechanical assessment, provide a written condition report, and proceed with servicing only after your approval. Patina and character are preserved unless otherwise requested.

Water resistance testing

Water Resistance Testing & Resealing

Verifies and restores your watch's water-resistance rating using pressure testing equipment. Gaskets, crown seals, and O-rings are replaced as needed. A second pressure test confirms the restored rating. Suitable for watches used in active or humid environments.

Things people ask

Do you service all watch brands?
We work on most quartz and mechanical watches regardless of brand. For complex luxury pieces with proprietary movement systems, we will let you know during the assessment if your watch requires attention from an authorised service centre instead.
How long does a typical repair take?
It depends on the service. Quartz movement replacements typically take 3–5 working days. Water resistance resealing is 2–4 working days. Vintage servicing varies but usually runs 10–18 working days after approval, as the work is more involved. We'll give you a clear timeframe when you bring the piece in.
What happens during the vintage assessment?
We examine the movement, case, dial, and hands to identify the caliber and assess their condition. You receive a written report with our findings, along with our recommendation for what work, if any, would benefit the watch. Nothing proceeds until you've had a chance to review and decide.
Will you change the look of my watch during servicing?
We do not polish cases or refinish dials unless you specifically ask us to. For vintage pieces in particular, we take the view that signs of age are part of the watch's history. Any cosmetic work is discussed and agreed with you in advance.
Is the price listed the final cost?
The listed prices cover standard service work. If a repair requires additional parts or unexpected complications arise, we will contact you to discuss the revised scope before continuing. There are no charges added without your knowledge.
Where are you located, and do I need an appointment?
We are at 15 Lorong Maarof, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. Walk-ins are welcome during workshop hours, though calling ahead is helpful for vintage assessments as they take more time to discuss properly. You're welcome to reach us by phone or email to arrange a convenient time.
